F*** You by Cee Lo Green

So the Grammy nominations have been announced and there is great buzz around one song by Cee Lo Green because of the title.  He is nominated for four Grammys and some people think they should use the alternative name for the song which they used in an episode of "Glee."  The song is called "Fuck You" and is a very up beat song and funny.  The alternative name is "Forget You" and is just as up beat but not what the writer and performer intended it to be. The night of the Grammy awards, some of the presenters will either be saying the real name of the song or it will be censored. What's your take?

  1. Like nobody has ever heard Fuck before. It's fine that they're bleeping it out on TV, but if there aren't any kids in the audience what's the problem with just saying the songs actual name. You will probably hear Fuck several times when an artist doesn't win in their category...

  2. I think the name of the song is "Fuck You" so they have to say it. After years now of glamourizing Kanye and other hip-hop artists, the tables are turned and the clear best song of the year is a hybrid pop/hip hop song that's just a blunt "Fuck you." They can't avoid it and they can't push it aside. I say fuck yes to Cee Lo Green for putting out the best fucking song of the fucking year!

  3. I will have soooo much respect for Cee Lo Green if he performs and says "Fuck you". It's the name of the song and it deserves to be said the right way, not F you or Forget you. Fuck censorship.
