Katy Perry was on the season premiere of SNL last night and this skit had a little message to the producers over at Sesame Street (and the parents that wanted to take her segment off air). In a skin tight Elmo shirt that really showed off the cleavage she had been recently reprimanded for. I think she did it in a tasteful way. It was very funny and a little media spat gets them each more publicity. SNL always sheds light on current events and I think they got this one right. What do you think?
She did do it in a tasteful way. I saw the clip she was in with ELMO on the news the other night, and I was a little taken back by the clevage she showed on a TODDLERS TV program. I have taught preschool for 4 years, and that is something I would have never shown my kids, but with the skit on SNL; the producers did do a great job enhacing publicity on promoting herself and ELMO.
